Don’t Miss this Rare & Exclusive Art and Nature Travel Experience
3D 2N Edible Flowers Art Retreat
Chiang Mai, Thailand
26-28 June 2024 | 17-19 July 2024 | 21-23 Aug 2024
We can’t get enough of this UNESCO city of craft and folkarts, excellent Lanna cuisine and most of all, the abundance of seasonal blooms such as the vibrant curcumas, hedyciums (Butterfly lilies), beehive gingers which only blooms during the rainy season.
Do not worry if this will affect the retreat programme since during the wet season, it typically rains lightly only in the afternoon when our painting workshop will take place. During the three creative workshops, you’ll have a chance to learn how to create flora studies and paintings using watercolour based on the exciting flora muses we will discover and encounter during our flower market and botanical garden visit.
Enjoy rare access to the famous highlands botanical garden, painting workshops of seasonal blooms at a Thai-Euro garden setting with 1000 year old olive trees at the montane forest and a bohemian cafe within the cultural city.
Join Lucinda Law and a small group of like-minded travel companions to experience this inspirational city where you will enjoy plenty of creative inspiration, cultural discovery and rejuvenation time in nature.
Bookings are now open. Choose your travel dates and email us to book now.
Space is limited to 8 retreat attendees. We have already received confirmed bookings from guests for 26-28 June. Secure you seat now.

Art Expression
You will create a travel journal filled with your personal reflections and documentation of unforgettable and delightful nature encounters with seasonal plants using watercolour, and watercolour pencils.
Nature Connection
Learn about the rich diversity of plants found in this region and discover some of their ethnobotanical uses. During the guided walk at Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden (QSBG), Lucinda will share stories from her botanical expeditions here. We will observe, document, draw and paint the flora muses we discover in the garden. QSBG is a botanical adventure not to be missed as it rests on a mountainous landscape and exploration to its various gardens is only accessible by car.
Cultural Discovery
We will visit a local gallery to view the textiles exhibition and discover the artisanal and bohemian charm of Chiang Mai’s folk art and crafts.
Culinary Appreciation
Your taste buds are in for a treat as we explore Chiang Mai’s Lanna cuisine and favourites such as Khao soi, Miang Kham, and more Northern Thai local specialities. We will have a chance to enjoy organic Damascus Rose Tea and rare butterfly lily tea while we paint.
Wellbeing
The leisurely-paced itinerary leaves room for relaxation and rest to integrate your daily discovery and exciting experiences of nature. You can also schedule spa sessions during me-time or after dinner if you wish since Chiang Mai has plenty of spa options.
